Kristin Hegge, MPT, Talent Consultant and Executive Recruiter, provides strategic direction for sourcing and recruiting of talent for CHASE HUNTER GROUP, Inc. While practicing physical therapy at a major Wisconsin health system she was recruited to CHASE HUNTER GROUP during a monumental and still ongoing search to expand and grow the market share for one of the leading healthcare systems in the Chicago area. Kristin’s strength as a clinician enables her to view talent from the leadership as well as the clinical perspectives and match strengths and personalities to each unique corporate culture.
A Native of Wisconsin, Kristin was awarded her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and later awarded her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin. She is a member of the APTA and co-authored the research article “Effect of Burst-Mode Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation on Peripheral Vascular Resistance” published in the Therapy Journal, June 2001 issue and went on to win the Dorothy Briggs Scientific Inquiry Award. Established in 1969 to honor Dorothy Briggs, PhD, an outstanding educator an active investigator at the University of Wisconsin, this Award recognizes exceptional physical therapists who have been authors of outstanding investigative research reports in physical therapy undertaken when they were students.
Kristin volunteers her spare time in helping children at Hales Corners Lutheran School which her son Matthew is attending. An active fundraiser and volunteer, she supports members going through cancer treatment, providing meals for low income seniors, and is an active member of the Natural Resources Defense Council. She is at home in Lake Villa, Illinois with husband Joe, a Respiratory Therapist and Consultant with Cardinal Health, and son Matthew and daughter Kayla.
