Employee turnover is a major healthcare challenge and alleviating it can begin with the hiring process. Nursing staff turnover has become a multi-million problem this country's healthcare organizations. To better attract and retain qualified nurses, organizations have been looking to their HR staff for ideas and solutions, and to their training departments. One organization recently installed Internet-based training to be offered to nurses to help them early in their career. Although the program is still in its infancy, this organization already has seen a decline in turnover rates for their nursing staff.
